Donald H. Tritz Jr. isa distinguished veteran with over 20 years of military service. He began his military journey as an enlisted member, demonstrating dedication and perseverance that led him to earn a Bachelor of Science degree. His hard work and leadership potential were recognized, leading to his selection for an officer’s commission.

Throughout his career, Donald excelled as a leader, managing teams ranging from small four-person units to a 200-person squadron. His leadership and commitment to excellence earned him 15 individual awards and 14 group awards. Among his most notable achievements is being awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal with Valor during his deployment to Kandahar, Afghanistan. In the face of a rocket attack by enemy forces, Donald’s quick and decisive actions saved over $200,000 worth of aeromedical equipment from a raging fire and provided critical care to two injured members.

After transitioning to civilian life, Donald continued his career of service as a healthcare administrator for Adams County, Colorado. In this role, he managed a $15 million healthcare services contract. His expertise and leadership were instrumental in the company’s acquisition of a second $15 million contract from Jefferson County, Colorado, where he successfully established and oversaw the new program.
